Using the KAWAHA D-Shaped Durable Lock 1. Check that the disc inside the cylinder are properly aligned. If not, use the key tip to push through the disc until they are symmetrical. 2. Insert the key fully into the cylinder and rotate it 180 degrees clockwise to release the shackle. 3. Place the lock on the desired application, close the shackle, and rotate the key 180 degrees counterclockwise to lock it. Remove the key.

Resolving Key Insertion Issues If the key cannot be fully inserted due to improper closure or factory settings, try the following: 1. Jiggle the key gently up and down or turn it slightly left and right while inserting to help realign the disc and cylinders.
